The Design Architect is confident in bringing your design vision to life. Here is a bit more about what it looks like to work with us.

We dig deep before we start to understand your vision. We begin with a discovery call to see if we are a good fit. If we are, we will schedule a consultation to review the direction of the design through existing elements of the space. In the consultation we ask a lot of questions, because your answers tell us who you are, what you care about, what you love, what’s sentimental to you, and what you want to express about yourself with the space. After we get to know you, and through detailed consideration, we will integrate our ideas into a new vision for your home.

This is where your dreams start to take shape! Depending on which service you select, our team will work with you to help create the best solution to your design problem. This step lays the groundwork for a successful project. After we have identified floor plans, we begin to select products and materials. Samples are ordered and mood boards come together. Budgets and timelines are put into effect to begin the heavy lifting.

The vision starts to come together as we present official selections of furniture, fixtures, and materials. With samples on hand, you can get the feel of materials and surfaces. We create detailed construction documents that allow for communication with your contractor and our vendors. We will go over all the nitty-gritty with you and make sure you know what’s involved. With your feedback, we can make the final changes and with your final approval we move forward to the next step.

We want to ensure you know exactly what to expect when it comes to construction, installation, and redesign of your space. Once all selections are made and approved, we will be communicating with the multitude of people that come together to make a new home and also assessing delivery dates for furniture, fixtures and equipment. Orders are placed for furniture based on the timelines for delivery that may have long lead times.

Once the construction starts, we will be the project managers of your space and managing timelines. We are the liaison between all your various services, architect, contractor, and trades people. We communicate the information on the who, what, where, and how of your home to the appropriate parties, so all the details of the project are aligned with the original plan. We will also keep you frequently updated with progress along the way.

This is the moment we have all been waiting for! We will install every last item and take the utmost care with detailing your home. From furniture, area rugs, and art, to the last accessory on the shelf, we will carefully curate your space. We truly want you to walk in the door on reveal day and be amazed. And because this is the time your home is all dressed up with nowhere to go, we may ask to schedule a photoshoot around this time. As your project wraps, we will schedule a final walkthrough of the space to resolve any outstanding to-dos or fixes.

Questionnaire & Payment
After you select and purchase the package that fits your project, we will ask you to describe your vision through a series of questions. That will let us get a better idea of your dream design. Upload the pictures and measurements of your space. You can provide as many details as you like, the more, the better!

Design Board Delivery
Once we have all the information needed to complete this step, we will get to work. You will receive the design boards to your inbox and we will discuss the details and the changes needed. Please allow for the time discussed in the timeline.

Shopping
After your feedback we will finalize the design board. You will get the final design and the product list in your email. Then it is time for the fun part- shopping!
